The Wellington Elks Lodge 566 held their Win The World charity draw at the Lodge on New Year's Eve afternoon with an Open House.  This year's winners were; 1st $2000 Chrystal Rodgers, Wellington 2nd $1000 Paul Fyke, Foxboro 3rd $500 Tom Dymtar, Picton.  Pictured are left to right Paul Fyke & Tom Dymtar absent from photo Chrystal Rogers.  The next 5 tickets drawn were all $20 winners; Mark Schwager, Jill Forester, Andrew Insley, Dennis Lee, Brent Carson.  Proceeds from the draw are given to the Elks & Royal Purple Fund for Children, Ontario Elks Charity Fund & Local Lodge Development.

Wellington Elks 4th Annual Kids Fishing Derby - Thank you once again to our sponsors Belleville Nissan & Rapala.  Ron Macdonald for the Hot Dog Buns.  All the members who helped with the event.  Thank you to all the Families who participated.  We will be moving the derby back to the Saturday before Canada Day in 2016.

Wellington Elks held their annual Win the World Charity Draw on New Years Eve.  Center Wellington Elks Loyal Knight Randy Vincent presents Carrie Rosborough with the top prize cheque of $2000.  At each end r-l Kathy Brooks $1000 winner and Bob Heighton $500 winner. $20.00 Winners - Linda Sanford, Wellington Elks Dart League, Gord Copeland, John & Brian Jewell, Val Lentini.  Thank you to all who purchased tickets! Proceeds from this draw go to charity and lodge development.   January 15, 2015.







Christmas Sharing - Wellington Elks donated a cheque for $800.00 on December 12, 2014 to the Storehouse Food Bank.  The donation was made to help the Storehouse with their annual Christmas Basket program.  helping families over the Holidays.  The Wellington Elks Dart League also held their annual food drive and donated it to the Foodbank.  Left to Right are Wellington Elks Members Phylis Miersma, Mac Clark (Leading Knight), Ken Rushlow (Exalted Ruler), Joe Engelsdorfer (Lecturing Knight), Karen Rushlow (Secretary), Storehouse Food Bank Lisa Marquardt.

Wellington Elks Exalted Ruler Dave Bowden presents $1,000 to Wellington Lions members Kerry Ford and Bruce Cronk.  The Elks have also pledged another $1,000 over the next year.  The Wellington Lions are collecting the funds for the new gazebo build project.  The gazebo was destroyed by a fallen tree two winters ago and the community is fund raising to build a new  one.                                                                                                                                                                                  


Friday May 30, 2014 Dave Bowden, exalted ruler of the Wellington Elks presents Hazel Lloyst, interim director of development for the PECMH Foundation, and Sandra Foreman, director on the foundation board with $500 toward the telemetry unit upgrade campaign.






Ontario Trillium Foundation Night


Friday May 30. 2014 Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant Review Team Member Colleen O'Reilly presents Wellington Elks Exalted Ruler Dave Bowden with a plaque recognizing our recent grant from the OTF for the amount of $12,700. The grant was for the upgrade of a new Range Hood, Fan & Suppression system in the Kitchen. You can look at the old and the new Kitchen. This grant allowed the Elks to bring their kitchen up to code. With the support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation the Elks can keep their kitchen running and keep making donations to the community without interruption


The Wellington Elks are pleased to announce that they are receiving a $12,700 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation to install a new Exhaust Fan, Range Hood and Suppression System in the kitchen.  This will ensure the safety of members and the public who use the kitchen.  We would like to thank the Ontario Trillium Foundation!
